A nice free browser

I ran across a free browser called K-Meleon. It is a Sourceforge project, installs easily and runs nicely. It lets you play with its appearance by choosing from a goodly amount of looks. Check out the K-Scribblers Kids by Ken Lynch. There are a number of features that look like they could concievably be useful, like the ability to zoom in and out. If you like to compartmentalize, the favorites go to their own app specific place. If you don't like, you can get the optional plugin and see your Internet Explorer favorites too. The one thing I did not like is that it pushes the default browser out of the way and installs itself without asking. It appears to ask for input through forums. In the universe of free browsers, it does not do badly at all, but it is probably less useful than Chrome. Some of the special options could make it worth taking a look at, and as with all the software I review here, the price is right.
